Washington, DC – The following is a statement from the American Health Care Association’s (AHCA) President & CEO Governor Mark Parkinson following the passage of a two-month health care and tax extenders bill:“Now that Congress made the right decision and passed a temporary solution, it is incumbent on them to find a permanent resolution for the therapy caps exceptions process and doc fix. Thousands of seniors receiving critical therapy should have the peace of mind that even past February they will have access to the care they need.“We look forward to working with Congress in 2012 to address these critical issues that ensure access to skilled nursing care for our nation’s seniors."
