Thank you for your introduction to the site; however, I am just becoming familiar with it. I am in the process of seeking my first full-time Administrator's position and am finding it most challenging. My background is in the Engineering/Architectural field, specifically HR, Management, Training, etc. but am finding it challenging due to my lack of healthcare experience. I left the E/A field to pursue my passion; have completed the 9-month internship gaining valuable experience while there, as well sat for my exam, but no bites to date.

I will reach out again once I have had a chance to visit and familiarize myself this career site. Thanks again

It's a good start. Congratulations. As a career site, I would like to see more than just jobs and how to get 'em. For example, with the growth of the aging population, where will the jobs be? How does one use what they've done--their experience--to transition into LTC? What about rewards? It's clearly not just financial. What deeper and more profound comes with the job? Is there any growth opportunity, except to move to a bigger company or facility? I just started a business in senior care (Helping Home), and believe that there are many more opportunities out there to be developed, eg,LTCjobs.com. How can LTC scratch the entrepreneurial itch? It would be nice to see a different kind of job site (I heard the other day there are 70,000 online), one that really helps people do more than just find jobs. PS. Brenda's post suggests an interesting topic--how do you compensate for lack of health care experience?

Thanks Tony, I have been working with Seniors since 1992. My passion for working with the elderly, and ensuring they have and receive an optimal level of care is what I strive for every day. I am an RN, MSN nurse working as Clinical Services Coordinator and licensed Assisted Living Administrator.

If you're open to it, I'll watch for a while to see what you're writing about. Then I may submit an ocassional piece, as appropriate. With 20+ years in healthcare, advertising and journalism, and a new business, I may be able to add a unique perspective . . . again, though, only if you'll be looking for submissions.

Thank you very much Tony! I'm sorry to have called you while you were on the road. Have a wonderful weekend, and give me a call on Monday regarding the Nashville opportunity.

I can think of one, but I'll place a few calls to administrators I know to see if there is more interest I'm not aware of.

Hey Tony,
Nice website. However, I would like to see more specific search engine for positions available. The topics are too general to really do a proper search. Otherwise, good luck and please help me with my search.

Hi Tony,
The website looks good, but I need a little time to familiarize myself with the tools. I am sure ESS could asist me in my job search. I just don't know if I can post my resume on this website, or where can I add some information about me.

Good morning Tony.
Thank you for your welcome.
Please have your consultants keep me in mind when needing to place a compassionate laborer in the care of seniors.
I like the site.
All the best,

Chris Slowinski
