Assisted living facilities price per unit have gone up in the last year while prices per bed in skilled nursing facilities have declined slightly, according to a new report.
Assisted living units saw a 57% increase over calendar year 2010, reaching $161,700, a study conducted for the publication SeniorCare Investor found. Skilled nursing bed prices fell to $59,100 per bed from the record of $62,500, the report revealed.
