Next month, a new palliative care program designed for Chinese Americans will launch at about 20 hospices in the state. The program will train volunteers to provide care that is culturally and linguistically sensitive. The initiative is a collaboration between the Chinese American Coalition for Compassionate Care and the California HealthCare Foundation, which publishes California Healthline.
