Massachusetts nursing homes feeling the economic pinch

WESTBOROUGH —

Stung by Medicare cuts and the loss of patients paying out-of-pocket, nursing  home operators warned a congressman yesterday that their ranks could further  thin - providing fewer options for frail residents.
